Flex Databases is driven by our high mission to make an impact in the Life Sciences industry. We provide flexible e-Clinical software systems for Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) and pharmaceutical companies.
We work globally with clients all over the world, with our own offices located in the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Turkey, and the US. We have a lot of fully remote employees, so your location is not a problem if you can easily work by CET.
We’re looking for a Scrum Master to help our teams stay focused, move faster, and work smarter — through facilitation, coaching, and lean practices. You’ll support product teams, guide agile processes, and collaborate closely with our experienced Scrum Master Lead and senior stakeholders.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coach product teams on applying lean product thinking (MVP, prioritization, experimentation), especially in high-load, low-time environments.
- Facilitate agile events (planning, reviews, retros, standups) with clarity, purpose, and adaptability.
- Act as an agent of change within teams: help identify and address blockers using tools like 5 Whys, Impact Mapping, and others.
- Support empathy, mindfulness, and respectful communication as core team values — openness and respect aren’t optional here.
- Enable automation and flow optimization from epic to deliverable: support smoother testing, delivery, and decision-making pipelines.
- Lead through soft, non-directive influence: propose experiments, facilitate decisions, co-create clarity without command.
- Proactively support cross-team and stakeholder alignment: use facilitation, coaching, and agile tools to move the whole system toward:
- Stronger commitment
- Focused execution
- Courage in experimentation
- Openness and feedback
- Respect as the team norm
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of Scrum Master experience, ideally in tech companies or product-driven environments.
- A practical understanding of Agile Manifesto and frameworks — you can explain the “why” behind the “what” with real examples.
- Strong facilitation and coaching skills — you know when to lead, when to nudge, and when to let the team figure it out.
- Broad understanding of software development and delivery processes, including requirements definition and release processes.
- Experience in navigating team conflicts or delivery bottlenecks with calm and clarity.
- Comfort working with diverse stakeholders: developers, product managers, leadership.
- Operational empathy — you don’t just understand challenges, you act on them.
- Familiarity with agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Miro).
- English: Advanced
- Russian: Native or Advanced
It will be a plus:
Bonus: Scrum Master certification (e.g., PSM, CSM) or coaching experience.
