This summer AXIS Clinicals chose Flex Databases as a CTMS & eTMF software provider.

We’ve asked Melissa Burgard, MSW, CCRC, Director, Clinical Research and Dinkar Sindhu, Chief Executive Officer at AXIS Clinicals a few questions about the upcoming collaboration:

  • Why Axis decided to implement CTMS and eTMF?   

AXIS is implementing CTMS as we see this as an excellent full-service software that will enable us to have management of all our research systems under one platform.    

  • What was the starting point for digitalization? 

We really saw the need for digitalized process for maintaining our TMFs.  The need for an eTMF was what started our search for a CTMS that will offer everything we need as a CRO.

  • Why did you select Flex Databases to be your software provider? 

AXIS Clinicals selected Flex Databases because they provide a one- stop-shop software platform and their user friendly design that will enable us to be organized and enhance our capabilities for all of our functional service areas.  Axis plans to use Flex Databases software packages to streamline all of our service areas from monitoring and essential document storage to budgeting and finance.

  • What do you expect to achieve with the implementation of Flex Databases?  

AXIS Clinicals expects to streamline our processes across functional areas, improve efficiency, provide a compliant eTMF and provide real time project reports to our sponsors.
